Create A Sodium Vapour Light Text Effect.

Hi friends, we back with yet another easy and quick step Photoshop Tutorial. Today in this Photoshop Tutorial, we will create a sodium vapour light text effect. This is a very simple typography tutorial. Just within few minutes you can complete this tutorial. Ok now let’s move on to the tutorial.
STEP-1 Open a new document with width and height of 500 pixels.
STEP-2 Fill the background with colour # 4d2c0e.
STEP-3 Press T to bring to bring in the type tool, or you can find the find the text tool in the tools palette. Now type any word of your choice. Let the text colour be white.
STEP-4 Double click on this type layer to bring in the layer style window, now apply the following layer style values to the text. Here I have used, DROP SHADOW, OUTER GLOW, INNER GLOW.

STEP-5 Now duplicate this text layer, place it below the original text layer, right click on this layer choose the option clear style, again right click on this layer and choose the option rasterize.
STEP-6 Fill this layer with the color black. Then go to filter>blur>Gaussian blur and set the radius amount to 4. Once it is done move this layer slightly down.

STEP-7 Download and bring in the brick wall texture, place it above the background layer, and set the blending mode of this layer to HARDLIGHT.

STEP-8 Create a new layer upon the brick wall texture layer, pick the elliptical marquee tool and make a selection, once you have made the selection, press CTRL+SHIFT+I to inverse the selection and fill this selection with color black.

STEP-9 In this final step go to filter>blur>Gaussian blur and set the radius to 75 pixels.
